Spring break!! I have about two weeks this year! Ahaha, I got to sleep in, how wonderful.
As such, I only picked up the paper about 20 minutes ago, only to find We are the Fury on the cover page! The Fury and this town go way back, so, I was very excited to see it.
My first memory of this band was a couple of years ago when my friend Alanna brought us their "debut" CD at the time. I can remember thinking it was very strange, while sitting there on my porch swing listening to her and Airen singing "Nation! Forgive us! We are young..."
But, as all things go, soon I was singing along with them. This was also when they still just called themselves The Fury, which we all still prefere.
Somehow, we know these people too, you know, friend of friend of things. But, I believe one of them in actually a close frind of Alanna's brother's. I don't really care much.
Now, they have been known as We are the Fury for quite some time and have an offcial debut album, making ours look cheap and ripped off. Oh well.
