I poured my thoughts over the wide open landscape, spread them out in front of me and sorted through them by hand at my leisure.

One can do this in the desert.

At home in Los Angeles every view is cluttered, a patchwork quilt.

Here I connect ideas to different colors and shapes and watch patterns emerge.
