Jesus Christ, it's been a while. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year.

Not much has happened since finals finished and registration was figured out... just been chillin', relaxing, playing video games...

Ah, the vidya. How I love thee.

(Still holding out for a remake/sequel to The Legend of Dragoon. God damn you, Sony.)

We're going to get a nice plasma TV soon... thank you, GE, for rewarding my dad's hard work!

I have a 1 TB external hard drive now (it's name is HUEG). It's tempting to take it apart and put it inside NESS with NONCOMP and DERP... but I'll enjoy it's subtle night-light glow when I lay my little head down to sleep at some ungodly hour of the morning. (Aside from work, I've been staying up late and sleeping in... it's been great.) I'm going to format NONCOMP and install some version of *NIX on there... not sure which one to go with. Ubuntu looks nice, but after using it a bit and seeing it in action, I think I'd prefer something that doesn't act like a bastard child of Vista and Mac. I like an OS that is minimal and unobtrusive yet reliable and versatile. I've got some homework to do... but classes don't resume until the 22nd, so I've got some time.

Speaking of later dates, Matt's coming home on the 27th. Uh, yay...?

Getting to that happy state between a buzz and flat-out shit-faced is a lovely thing to do on New Year's Eve, provided that the company one is with consists of trusty folk... (nothing bad happened, but it really brings a person down when they barely even recognise who they're supposed to be partying with. I ended up hiding in Stas' bedroom with Kevin and Kat at the end.)

Merr. I was supposed to clean my room up, but... screw it, I've got a few weeks.

It's below 25 F outside and my dad won't raise the thermostat above 60 F. MY ROOM LEAKS HEAT- MY WINDOWS DO NOT CLOSE PROPERLY. It's windy outside, so every time a gust comes by, I can feel it while sitting at my desk here. Not good. I swear to god I'm going to start wearing a scarf, thick socks, and gloves every moment of my waking life until spring comes.
