Surgery and Donations update

Okayish news: So I went to the hospital's free clinic today, to talk to a surgeon. My aunt gave me a ride, because driving is hard for me right now (well, everything is hard for me right now). It was ridiculously hard to find. What a weird hospital. Anyway, we got there, checked in, did paperwork, waited, did some more paperwork, got my weight and blood pressure, waited some more, and finally got put in a room. Then a doctor came in and discussed things, and gave me the usual "well we can't be TOTALLY sure, but surgery seems like the best option" and I was like "okay please fill out my medical leave form for work" and then she called the actual surgeon in, who asked me the same questions, tried to be buddy buddy but failed, then said "it'll be sometime in the next two weeks". My aunt and I both said "well sooner would be better" and he said "it won't be this week, but we'll try to have it next week if possible".
So it's good that surgery is going to be scheduled, but not good that I have to wait another week. x.x And I don't know WHEN it'll happen, just that they'll call me and let me know the earliest they can do it.
ETA: I wrote that at 4 PM, after I got home from my appointment, then I fell asleep at my computer (I was lying down in bed with it, so easier than if I'd been sitting). I just woke up again. x.x I'm still sleepy, but I have to get up for a bit so I don't end up waking up at 4 AM or something. It obviously took more out of me than I thought.
