(no subject)
It's such a good song....
I am fully aware that this is the first post I'm doing since who knows when... first post, and I'm only half conscious... Hmmm lets see... how was the "summer" for people? Mine was ... uhh.. odd... I worked full time all summer and shall continue to do so even though school has begun again. As fas as school goes, well that's just nuts... I decided to go back to highschool to "upgrade" some courses I didn't do so well in... AKA I slept through them. so I'm there all morning, I work 35 to 40 hours a week at tim hortons, and starting the middle of september, I'll be taking night classes at the U of R. I'm taking japanese language studies, and this other course things (several over the year actually) of which I cant' name at the moment, but by the time this year is done, I'll have a year of Japanese language classes under my belt as well as being a fully qualified english instructor. I'm so desperate to get out of here... right now I'm looking at moving to china next fall to teach. There is an organization I'd be going with and everything is almost set up. Wish me luck =)
In other news, there is a company here in town that makes personalized liscence plates for people, and the owner is in timmies all the time. We got to talking tonight, and he found out that I do a bit of 3D art... whatever you want to call it... he wants to hire me to do the layout for personal plates. I'd do it all from my computer at home. I also gave him the website where the "space art" is posted. He loves this one:
and came in again tonight to ask if he could turn it into a liscence plate and he'd pay me for it. I should be getting one in a few days to see if I like the idea. to be honest, I'm thrilled, I just don't ahve the enegy to show that here...
I go tomorrow morning at 8am to get all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out.... then tomorrow night Jeff, Bobby, Matt, Rob and I are going to see Hero. I hope it's good... regardless of what jeff would say, I am most definately not on a date with any of them... hes in denial about Matt and I.... a guy from work that has decided to try and seduce me, but had the subtely (sp?) of a freight(sp?) train. Not likely to happen....
