Why are we having this conversation again?
The USA worked, in part, because the people who created the constitution were the people who didn't want to put up with the religious shit, the people who were fleeing from religious persecution. Things are not now as they once were, but that was inevitable. Generally speaking, you have to say that the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were a rousing success.
As you're probably aware, this is not what has happened in the middle east.
There's so many other things I want to say, suggestions I'd like to make, etc.
I'm left with nothing to offer but this: BOOT. TO. THE. HEAD.
