Happy Birthday, little brother.
Today, October 3rd, 2008, is Aaron's birthday.
Aaron is my brother that died Jan 21 of 2007.
I'm listening to Nickelback's Photograph. Shortly I'll listen to Handful of Rain. Aaron liked Nickelback. Photograph is the song my stepbrother Richard wanted to have played. I think I originally meant to pick Alone You Breathe, but I always get the two songs mixed up. I'll listen to some 7dust today as well, though I can only stand the one CD, the one with Live Again. There were a couple of country songs that I won't listen to. I don't remember the rest, but I have the whole CD we made on my PC at home.
I will be rocking some Lamb of God this weekend for sure - he and I went to the concert promoting Sacrament the end of July, just before I moved back to Utah.
I never knew him that well, I guess. We were roommates, back in 1998, I think. After he moved out, Michael moved in. Michael introduced me to my future wife; we were married at the start of 2000 and knew each other a year before that.
We made an effort to spend time together once he'd settled down in Reno and I in Winnemucca. I mostly failed at that same as everything else.
I'm a little sad today. But I guess I'll make it through the day.
