I get so tired of this kind of thing.
Did you know that some of us religious people believe and even live some of the things preached by Jesus? Shocking, I know, and increasingly rare.
Those who speak of the corruption inherent in positions of power have, if anything, understated the case.
It is only in the last year or so that I've gotten it through my head that not having a moral code derived from religion does not imply not having a moral code.
Wanna know why?
'Cause if I didn't have religion, my moral code would consist of what I could get away with. Why would you want a moral code if you didn't have to have one? Well, because you're not a complete piece of fungus.
