Oi, I really enjoyed that article. It blows my mind that ANYONE can justify being an annoying jackass as pleasing to their god. Of course they think that we are annoyed is because we are sinners and in need of their wisdom. In reality we are just annoyed that they are bugging us.
I was in HEB the other day, and this woman who was checking us (my little sister and myself) out was like "I see you bought gum... do you like mints?!" in a really excited voice. She bust them out, and they were shaped like little jeebus fishes and had scripture on the top of the tin can. I was like "Oh...cinnamon" while Crystal was like "These are really strong" The woman was like "Yeah!! Aren't they powerful and feel you full of life? Here, try these other candies!" and gave us some smarties with scripture on the packaging. I hate cinnamon candies. HATE.
I hate that sorta shit. First off, the candy sucks; I think I am getting an awesome free candy instead I am given a sucky scripture reading with even suckier candy. Secondly, they have the worst word emphasis ever. "Aren't these powerful!?!?" "They will fill you full of NEW LIFE!" Wow, I don't get what you are meaning at all. NOT AT ALL. Thirdly, I HATE CINNAMON. I hate it. And that's primarly what the candies are. Always cinnamon.
I should have told the lady "I hate cinnamon. Have you tried ginger? They say you find true enlightenment through those."
