My favorite part of the library is that space next to the seventh shelf from the left, on the second floor in the west wing. There is a lovely view of the gardens from the window next to my table and even when the heavy curtains are drawn, sunlight manages to burst through. It's a small, private corner where time stops, almost cautiously, before ticking by so fast that you don't know what's hit you. I think I need to get out of here. :(

I'm not sure if it's the intoxicating combination of music - I've lost track of the amount of songs I've listened to - and the smell of old books (which I do love, mind you), but there must be some kind of parallel dimension here which can account for my general forgetfulness. All I remember, vaguely, is handing in my papers and taking my exams (and probably running back to my room for a bit of sleep, food and a warm bath) and then I'm seated here again. With one more day to go. Please please please be over soon.
