So, you might've noticed that I've been griping about a mysterious deadlined project that took up half of April and all of May and left me without time to get anyone proper birthday presents. This is it: a Mego action-figure-guy done as a portrait of Sitting Bull, with matching costume for model horse. This is a commission for the auction at the annual North American Nationals, which are to the world of model horse competition what the Westminster Kennel Club is to dog showing. It's the first time I've been requested to offer anything there, so I'm pretty chuffed, even though I realize not everyone regards supporting NAN as morally defensible. (--Don't ask.)

Anyway, here it is for anyone who wants to know what I do when I'm not typing, reading, or asleep. [Note: includes cute kitty pictures. =) ]
