back from AUSA
Sorry it's over, but happy happy I had the best time in like ever. This is the first time I'd gotten a room at AUSA and stayed for more than a few hours of the con, and I am for certain doing it again next year.
Con report, short version:
*I met Richard Epcar (international anime administrative guy and decades-of-experience voice actor, voice of Daisuke Jigen in Lupin III and Batou on GitS among many others), who was super nice and very funny; and gallo_de_pelea, after all this time, who was teh 100% awesome and even brought prezzies =).
*I bought a lot of goodies. =)
*I saw so many cool costumes I can hardly believe it.
*And saw Nen Daiko again, too. <3
*Worst unexpected thing: people are still allowed to smoke in restaurants in Virginia. CIGARS even. UGH.
*Best unexpected thing: the clock-radios in the Hyatt now have iPod docks. =)
I officially love fandom again. More later. =)
