Google Ngrams

So I found something cool you guys may think is nifty. It's called the Google Ngram Viewer.

Essentially, they've gathered more than 5.6 million books since the year 1600 and imaged them into their databases. This allows you to search by words from certain time periods to measure their usage and popularity. For instance, did you know that the word "snowman" didn't take off until 1935? And you can search the books the words were found in to check how they were referenced.
