This trailer will seriously make grown men cry. It's 300, which is a movie based on Frank Miller's graphic novel rendition of the Battle of Thermopylae. And, like Sin City, the dialogue is taken directly from the comic ( Read more... )

Well...Spartan warriors really didn't wear all that much, save a helmet, buckler, loin-wrap, and, sometimes, a cape. Sometimes they didn't wear the loin-wrap at all...so be thankful that Mr. Butler is. :P

O_O It's beautiful. Much, much better than I'd guessed from seeing the production photos a few months back.

Generally it's actually a problem for me if Mr. Butler is starring in a movie I'm trying to take seriously. Love the guy to death, but it's hard to look at him and not burst out laughing after seeing Dracula 2000. Hopefully he'll maintain enough dignity for me to take him seriously like he did in Dear Frankie.

...even if he is wearing leather panties.

I got to see it without the music here at school. I must say I am looking forward to it very much, and not just for Gerard Butler.
