So. I spent an evening in the ER with my roommate. That is not something  i want to do again. She's fine, had a bad reaction to her medication. They can't pin it to that so they told her to stop taking. When I got home however I was greeted with an email from my father. about the woman who made me who I am. And so, upon the stress of the evening, I share it with you. Until it falls off the newspapers server.

Ok everybody. Meet Mrs. Barbara. She taught ballet, tap, lyrical, hawaiian, flamenco, you name it and she taught it to us.

And Jerome DeVito? He was my teacher too. He taught me Jazz, Musical Theater, and how to stage manage. The girl in the picture with Mrs. Barbara, I taught when I was there. That she is 16 now is nearly beyond me, since she was 7 when I met her. But she is beautiful, simply Beautiful. Oh, and yea, I was there that day she fell. Took three years off my life. I was also there the day she did her first pas de chau to prove she had recovered. Then we found out she'd been leaping around doing the scarecrow dance for weeks already. The prankster. What they don't mention in this article, and what is as big a part as anything is that she was never willing to let us fail. at anything. she drove us hard and strong and while sometimes she was a bit of a bully we were all better for it because in the end she was nearly always right. Take it from me, who got nicknamed the General while under her watch. This is the woman I owe my life to. I owe her everything.
