I have come to the rather insane conclusion that while I like certain aspects of this country, I really really hate sand that just hangs in the air.... *cough cough cough* What's the point in sand if it just HANGS? I guess it's all because it's a pain in the ass to blow your nose and NOT look at how much sand is caught in your snot and wonder ( Read more... )

Damn, and I'm complaining about temps around 80 degrees. I'd die in that kind of heat.

*lol* You do get used to it... at least it's not humid, cuz if it was, I'd sooooo not want to be here. It's dry heat - and with the temps being what they are, its sometimes scary to see how much weight you loose from waterloss because your sweat evaporates before you even really know that you're sweating. Actually, kinda dangerous, so it's important to drink water, and lots of it!

I made a game of it and keep the bottle caps - just to see how many I go through... I think it's supposed to be something like 8 bottles a day is what you'd drink in an "average" invironment.... I got to about 10 in one hour and figured, "hmmmmm.... I need bigger pockets" :)
