My dad was in a horrible motorcycle accident on Thursday and I just found out.
He had to be air lifted to a Fresno hospital, where he's been alone since this afternoon.
Several broken ribs, a broken clavicle, a punctured lung, and some bruised organs. They're worried about pneumonia because of the lung.
The CHP had all his stuff (like his cell phone), and I guess decided not to take on their job of notifying the family! A nurse at the hospital called the police in the city that his sister lives in and managed to get a hold of her. She just visited with him and went to his apartment to find my phone number.
He's going to be ok, and thankfully it doesn't seem like he injured his back again.
I can't believe he's been alone for 3 days.
We're going to drive down in the morning to see him.
