It's. So. Cold. And I have no heat or power...
Sooo, first off, thanks to the lovely callherblondie for the Halloween gift! I miss you and your sister! ♥
Secondly, apologies for not getting up a report of SMTown NYC (although it'll all be squeeing "OMG THEY WERE ALL AMAZING ♥ ♥ ♥") or posting pics as I should've...I was busy but knew that today is my last day of work (more on my conflicting feelings about being unemployed for the first time since I was 16) so I'd definitely get that post up...
And then the freak snowstorm happened...
And my town is one of those in Connecticut that is basically 100% blacked out...most of my family has no power and so that whole posting thing? Totally not happening until power's back on. So we're at 2 days and counting for no power and my town's schools have already closed until Thursday so that really just doesn't bode well. Thankfully we have gas heat and a gas stove so it's not as bad as it can be. But seriously...believe the news cause the damage is pretty crazy with the downed trees and branches. My brother's car had a massive branch fall partially on the hood and my sister had live wires down in front of her house. And boy, you wouldn't believe the lines at gas stations! One co-worker told me she tried to get gas during lunch and was told at one place the wait was TWO HOURS. TWO HOURS!!!
Anyway, enough about that for now...I'll try to get SMTown pics up once the power's back! ♥ to ya'll! Stay extra warm for me! ;)
