I feel like most of my posts involve me saying I'm still alive...
So...thanks to callherblondie, I am ignoring homework and studying to reassure anyone who still cares everyone that I am indeed still alive!
I'm working 3 jobs currently while going to school full-time so as you can see, there's not much time for anything else. It's okay...I'm going to pay back my credit cards and try to make some kind of dent in my school loans while saving up to move back to Japan and so it's all worth the lack of sleep and lack of social life! ♥
Anyway...SMTown in LA...it was the BEST weekend of my life.
Friday
- Checked into the Sheraton Downtown with uknowmyoppa, the sponsor hotel, just after midnight. As we were at the front desk, BoA walked right by us and headed up to her room. She is tiny and adorable.
- Got upgraded to a King suite because our requested room was unavailable due to the fans who booked after the sponsor hotel was announced.
- Made friends with the receptionist who totally appreciated that we weren't super crazy fans.
Saturday
- Met up with the lovely callherblondie and her sister and then proceeded to stalk the main doors of the hotel.
- The TRAX ninja-ed their way past us and everyone because no one even realized they were there.
- Went to the Staples Center earlier and caught a glimpse of Super Junior rehearsing Don't Don before staff closed the curtains.
- Our seats were 100x better than we thought!
- The concert itself was beyond amazing...I'm sure you've all seen fancams...I don't think I need to recap the concert itself.
After party
- The bouncer almost didn't let me in...even though my friend was using her sister's ID and they have way diff hair color and don't look all THAT much alike! I am 21...T-T
- Female bartender was super sweet and made our drinks super strong...♥
- We were only 2 feet away from the majority of SNSD, Super Junior, The TRAX, SHINee, BoA, and Kangta as they entered the club. Noticeably missing were all of f(x) and Taemin. Yunho ninja-ed in somehow...cause he was there, just didn't enter like everyone else.
- Let me say this again: TWO FEET AWAY FROM SHINee. TWO FEET AWAY FROM ONEW AND MINHO AND JONGHYUN AND KEY. They were very responsive to the fans but omg...I was beyond happy that I got so close to my loves. I met my one goal for the weekend~ Unfortunately, now I have a new fangirl delusion/goal of one day having Onew noticing and giving me a smile...at least it's more reasonable than marrying him or something?
And although SHINee owns my heart...that is NOT the most epic part of the night/weekend. As most of you know, Yunho came out on stage and played DJ with the real DJ for a song. Lots of fancams of that. What you can see from many of those fancams is that upon closer inspection, he constantly looks to his left (audience's right) and the other guys and DJ do the same and at some points gesture in said direction.
Well, this may sound like uknowmyoppa and I are tooting our own horns but...what they were looking at...was totally US.
Why, you may ask, would they care about us? Well, we got a bit drunk, and were dancing whilst EVERYONE else just fangirled and recorded Yunho. We just enjoyed ourselves (there was a security guard by us but he deemed us harmless and left us to dance more, lol) and had already had the attention of the DJ and the Kollarboration guys who had been frequenting the stage. And it doesn't even matter if they thought we were awesome or idiots...all that matters was the YUNHO was amused by us.
So on to the most wonderful 18 second clip I've ever recorded in my life. Note how the DJ physically gestures in our direction and the other guys whisper to Yunho before they all turn to look.

I will return one daysoon to post things from last semester in Japan...but I wanted to share the current highlight of my life even though it a month ago. ♥
