Haruhi
So, I watched all of Haruhi yesterday... yeah, terrible way to spend a sunday, but oh well.
(all episode numbers are based on dvd order)
Watched episodes 1-6 and I was amazed. Then I watched episodes 7-13 and was terribly disappointed. Episode 6 gave a solid ending to the story, and everything after just felt like "filler". I later found out that 1-6 are the real story based on the first book, and while the episodes were aired in japan, episodes 7-13 and 0 were inserted between those episodes (and are excerpts from later books, but aren't really story related), ending on episode 6... Augh, I kinda wished I knew that before I started watching so I could have watched them in that order and ended the series with a solid ending.
I need to find an anime that won't end disappointing me... Maybe I'll take Jill up on her offer to watch Key.
Edit: Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the show, I was just really let down by the complete lack of story after episode 6.
