Summary: Manabu moved from a big city to a creepy village were most of the population is old and were the power cuts every night, A curfew that every one obeys without complaining and weird sounds outside the house.

( A/N: I would like to continue with this story but i realized that the ending was bad, Tried to come up with a new one but it doesn't look that good.. )
Manabu's Pov:
I had tripped a couple of times so my body did hurt and i my hands were covered in blood.
I couldn't see Kazuki's cottage but i could see kazuki sitting on a rock and starring at the ground. I walked closer to him. He looked up at me with a serious face " You look like a maniac" he said. "Says the maniac himself" i sat myself next to him.
"I am weird"
I was just silent as i tried to make the blood on my hands disapear but it was no use.
"What happened to your cottage?" I asked.
"I burnt it and burried the ashes of it"
"You don't have to burry the ashes of a cottage you dummy"
"I wanted to, i feel indebted to it. I have many memories from this place but it was time for it."
I started to see a diffrent kazuki as we talked more. It was a sad and lonely image.
He managed to open up about his feelings and we started to tell things about our selves and how we grew up. It seemed that Kazuki lived with his grandfather as long as he remebred. And the villages did think that his grandfather was behind the disapearense of the people but didn't have any evidence to get him in jail so they sentenced him and kazuki to live up in the mountains and if they ever saw him they would put him in jail. His mother died after she gave birth to kazuki and his father was nowere to be found. 'I,who grew up with both of my parents at my side didn't know how he could have felt but it must had been horrible.'
"I'm sorry" i said. I was sad.
"Aww, Don't be like that" He said as he hugged me. "I should be the one who should say that. I was really weird. My only friend was my grandfather. He gave me hope and said that one day i would be able to leave this place and start a new life. I already made a friend and annother thing is that I'm actually scared of the things that had happned but my grandfather told me that you have to be brave. You know the body without a head that was walking around here. I used to stare at it from the window and it would entartain me with the frustrated walk that made it walk into many trees and trip over small rocks.
I was thinking maybe it had some regrets and couldn't move on"
i started laughing "That would fit a spirit but it wasn't one cause it could touch me and it moved, but it had no head. The only thing it did lose was the head. Maybe it was that thing it looked after" i said.
"we are lucky, we're still alive"
"Mm" i nooded. "Hey kazuki"
"Yes"
"Let's go to my house, i feel more safer down there than up here"
"I would protect the little manabu with my awesome hair to scare everything away if you got scared but okay, I AM REALLY HUNGRY! You have to give me lots of food."
We walked hand in hand cause it felt safer.
When we were at my house kazuki immediately went to the kitchen.
"I want this, this,this and that one!" Kazuki looked really hungry.
Of course i was too but he looked like he hadn't eaten anything for days. He ate alot and even took some food from me.
"Hey, that's mine. You have your own food to chew on."
"But yours looks better than mine"
He looked at me with puppy eyes and i couldn't refuse him.
I heard the phone ring. How i wanted to hear that tone.
My dad was on the line, He said that he got a job offer in america. The news shocked me. I didn't know what to say more than "Oh really? That's great then we are moving to america"
I looked at kazuki who ate happily. He only cared about the food.
"No actually it's just me and your mother that are going to move but don't worry we will take care of the money problem and make some arrengement so that you can come visit us when you feel lonely. I hope you understand that we are thinkig that this is the best choice. Besides it's a nice village, you will surley get to know someone that is around your age when the summer break is over. I have to go but i will call you later. Bye" He hung up.
'Were we going to continue to live like this in this, would we get killed, why should you even have money when it's not needed.
Now how were we going to get out of here. There wasn't any buses near and the people that lived here previously didn't even have cars. I hate to live with dead boddies around me.
But somehow both me and kazuki would leave this village. WE HAD TO!'
"Your parents are going to leave you behind and move to america?!
Kazuki stood up and hugged me.
"You're going to be fine because I'm the hero in this scary tale that's going to save my princess..i mean prince."
I chuckled. "I'm clumsy and you're stupid. We fit well together. Let's see about that."
"We can not wait for something to happen, we have to start doing something"
"I agree"
"Let's clean up the boddies and the heads. Let's throw them somewere!"
"No. I will faint if i look at them!"
"We can not have them lying there"
"I know but i do not want to touch them" i said as i looked out.
"WHAT THE HELL!"
I ran through the door, Kazuki followed.
Everything, the blood, the heads and the boddies were gone. It was as if it never had happened.
"Someone or something is trying to mess with our minds"
"Kazuki, we are going to play that we are spies tonight!"
