of Return Merchandise Authorization

Just dropped off my iPod nano with UPS today. And I'm awaiting an Advanced Replacement from Western Digital. Turns out the sluggish performance of my old hard drive wasn't just due to the massive thrashing it took from my... er, extensive, um, extra calculus problem sets. Which I am writing over with a series of 0s. Having already made a copy, of course.

They haven't issued a recall for the k850i, but it's still chugging along for me and all the problems I have with it are hardware based, and just barely my fault, such as the fast port not working from me crushing the handsfree adapter against it, or the 0 key falling off. Anyhow, I'm getting a Galaxy Nexus. It's compatible with all carriers in Canada and it's got vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich (hmm, that actually sounds pretty good). Plus I can get a PEP at Future Shop and if it craps out on me I can get a replacement.

But why do you care? As far as anyone knows, I could be on Mars. When was the last time you saw me in person?

Well, that's not gonna change any time soon. So here's the takeaway, kids: keep your receipts and hope your shit gets a zombie recall (I got my nano in 2005, and it's on life support. I'm sure most people have chucked theirs.).
