so i think watching "the girl who leapt through time" and listening to the paprika soundtrack were bad choices.
just had a dream where i was trying to convince someone that ryuuichi sakamoto had written the soundtrack for a movie called "numbers" which is based loosely on pascal's life. either the song or the soundtrack was titled "coccus", and a google search took me to the wikipedia page, where screenshots of the movie were posted, along with the original japanese title, which translates roughly as "the boat that sailed 40 storeys below me sitting 2 storeys below the balcony"
