The words reverberated through my head. It seems so surreal. Why would she lie to me about something like this? I don’t understand! I don’t even know what to believe any more!
He did his best for me at his own expense. He paid for my education and kept me off the streets. He was there for me when I needed him - that’s what brothers do... right?
It doesn’t matter if we don’t share the same blood because well I love him.
Lincoln will always be my brother.
