I just found out today that my Uni choir is going to be recorded next Wednesday for BBC Radio 2! For those out the loop (ie everyone) Radio 2 is one of, if not the most popular radio stations in the UK. We're recording some stuff in the university chapel on the 2nd Dec - I'm not sure what yet, I'll no doubt find out tomorrow - and it will be broadcast some time in January. I think it may even be for two separate programs. I'm going to try to record it, but it should also be available on the BBC's free iplayer, though I don't know if it's available outside the UK (for anyone interested).
It's all quite exciting really!
I text my brother to rub it in that my 'musical career' is going better than his. His band has only been on local radio - I'm going national!
