I feel bad for Katie

My sister had to have her kitten, Sadie, put to sleep today. She only got her back in September as a stray that my Dad picked up from a litter of four. She looked just like my childhood cat Fluffy, that died right after Caden was born. Well, they had Sadie fixed about two weeks ago, and she never recovered from the surgery. The best thing the vet could figure is that she had AIDS and b/c of the surgery, she got a bad infection or FIP. After a week from the surgery and she was still struggling to sleep, eat or do much at all, they tried getting her checked out. They found fluid on her lungs causing breathing issues - which they tried to drain. They let her go home the other day, which we all thought was hopeful, but it was really just to give her TLC and that she probably wouldn't make it the next two weeks. They've been trying to feed her through an eye dropper, but she's just giving up and refusing to even do that now. She hadn't slept in days, so it was time to just do it. The poor thing.
