I just got back from IHOP.. pancakes with Luke..
Right before that I was at a remembrance ceremony for Deidre... her mom asked me to get up and say a few words.. I was very touched and agreed to.. then found out it was going to me the mayor, a state representative, the chief of police, and me.. I was very touched and honored to be the representative for all her friends that loved her. It gave me a much needed feeling of closure.. and it made me so happy to see how many people her life touched.
I made Kolaches at home yesterday.. I like the strawberry filled ones better..
