11000 WORDS OF VIOLENCE, D/S, AND SPANKING DO NOT USUALLY EQUATE TO A CALMING BEDTIME STORY, BUT HERE I AM, READING IT.

wow I take so many breaks when reading LOL. Or is reading my break between doing other shit? ANYWAY I LOVED THIS! Nash sounds so thug in this lol. Especially this line: "with the perfect wife and the perfect life, eating up a little slice" kinda made him sound like he was rapping, even.

I really liked the composition, with the Nash-voice storytelling between the transcripts. I think it gave a... idk more comprehensive view of the piece? IDK IT WAS GOOD, YOU ARE GOOD. THE WHOLE THING IS GOOD I LIKED IT YAY!!! YOU ARE FANTASTIC. :)

LOLOLOL THUG!NASH. That is exactly what we strive for here at my journal, hub of madness and extremely poor grammar. I would pay money to see Lukas Haas rap. Lots and lots of money. Or for someone to write a rapper!AU with Nash. ;______;

I'm glad that you enjoyed the fic! I wasn't sure if people would like the format of it or not, so it makes me really pleased that you did. Thanks so much.

Now, this is the story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the sub of a mad billionaire

I don't think I've read a piece of fiction this good in months. I didn't even like Nash before this, but I'm totally converted. <3

I drooled over this until it was sopping wet while giving the final read-over, and I've just about flooded the room by now. This is, in short, amazing, my new favorite from you, and I'm honored to have my art paired with it. :D

The Nash voice is completely human. He isn't some two-dimensional character being force-fed tropes on his way to a predetermined ending. He doesn't know the meaning of morals, only what really counts in the end: his own self-preservation. I love how well you managed to do first person, addressing the reader, and then first person action, which is damn impressive. And the way that you laid out the plot and revealed it bit by bit with exactly the right timing and leaving the right ratio of doubt v. clarity in the reader's mind... this shows untouchable craftsmanship.

And the ending, god what an amazing climax! It was concise and therefore delivered a mighty punch. I literally gasped aloud and this is while already knowing what was coming. The ending line, like I told you before, is absolutely perfect. I keep ( ... )

PLEASE DON'T DROWN. I CAN'T LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE YOU DON'T EXIST. <3333333333333333

I'm so glad that you find him three dimensional. I know that when I write Nash, I tend to write him as a caricature, and so a lot of this piece was about fully realizing him. It probably should have been a PWP, BUT I WAS HELL BENT ON CHARACTER STUDY-ING THE FUCK OUT OF THIS THING. ALSO, GETTING MY BDSM ON.

I am so not fit for you to worship me, BUT OH WELL. GROVELING ACCEPTED NOW AND FOREVER.

Thank you so much for such a lovely comment and being so involved in the whole process. You were amazing to work with. ♥

I know I already sent you an obnoxiously ALL CAPS pm about this, but I have somewhat collected my thoughts and will be brief and hopefully a tad more ~dignified about the whole thing.

In short, this is one of my favorite things I have ever read in this fandom, and it is most definitely my favorite work of yours to date.

The complexity of the narrative--the transcripts, the first-person POV, the interaction Nash has with the reader...it all just works together in a way I really would have doubted was possible. It's like three stories in one; and it's fascinating to see how Nash handles interaction within all the relationships: Nash/Saito, of course, but also the relationships Nash has with his interrogator and the reader.

A couple of lines just jumped out at me as being particularly amazing--

Don’t think I don’t see you standing out there with your face pressed up against the glass of my world, fogging it up panting like some animal that's caught the scent of blood.

Someone's coming at you with murder in their eyes and a whole ( ... )

PSSSH, LIKE WE EVER DO DIGNIFIED HERE. I'm capslocking all over my comment section and talking about Nash rapping, so clearly you're more invested in being professional than I am. ;)

You have absolutely no idea how much that means to me. I'm so pleased to hear that you liked it, especially with regards to what was admittedly a very strange format. First person, scripting, unnamed OCs... clearly I have a mess of fandom THOU SHALT NOTs here, but knowing that they all came together for you in the end makes me so happy, it's hard not to just keyboard mash at you for an entire paragraph.

I'm glad that you were emotionally invested, especially since I really wasn't sure how well that was going to work for people as I was writing it.

Thank you so much for your amazing feedback and support, Katie. I will sign anything you push at me. ♥
