I would say this is where it got me, but it was so later on in the story. You have me at, well, I was just pulled in immediately. HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT? I do like the title a lot - it lets me know that this is going to be a fun story and I just love how hung-up over Thursdays Nash is. It's like, it's not the day of the week that matters, Nash, it really isn't, bad things could happen any day. =P
The dialogue in here is so great! I love the balance of narrative and dialogue, but I love that you have an emphasis on the dialogue because you are really good at writing it. Your Nash is so great. And, you know, I LOVED the other characters you had in this. Saito, Arthur, and Yusuf all had distinct personalities (but not stereotypical) and I loved the way you wrote them. It really added so much to the stability of your universe, even with their short appearances. It gave the fic more substance. The appearance of Yusuf really got me. And, you know, I loved that brief mention of Yusuf perhaps being a cuddler and how Nash would want to get him drunk so maybe he would tug on his hair or slap his ass. Yusuf is pure, and people, they just try to corrupt him... XD I just love everything here!
All the character interactions are so good, as I said, and the narrative is just as good. This line made me go AWWWW, POOR NASH ): :
"He’d gotten away with it in his twenties, but the same shit that had been cute then made him look like a loser now."
Your Nash is such a big asshole and, I don't know, you make him such an appealing character. How does that WORK? Whatever, it does. His character is great. When Cobb berates him at the beginning, I feel so bad because I sympathize. I'm childish too, Nash... buuuuuut, not so mean. =P Still, though, Cobb is scary when he yells at him. Their relationship is so unbalanced but they both don't care that much about it, because they're both kind of jerks and that's the way it is.
YOUR VERSE JUST KEEPS MAKING ME CRINGE AND CRINGE. So many embarrassing parts. But I guess the premise of Cobb having ED really sets up for those moments, it's just... so amazingly awkward I want to cry. One of the best parts:
"You’d like that, wouldn’t you? If I just held it there for you to suck,” Cobb said, fist sliding base to tip and back again.
“Sounds great. You know what’d be even better?
“Yeah?”
“If you’d just fucking do it already."
Cobb is just so into the dirty talk throughout this story which is great, and it's even better that Nash isn't. That foiling just makes it so funny and awkward at once.
I'm also gonna have to give you major points for having at least one of the best usages of the word "motherfucker". It was beautiful.
“Nash, fuck, Nash. Yeah, suck me, baby. Come on, come on-motherfucker."

POOR YUSUF, he's trying so hard to just do his job and not to make waves, but when he works with the dynamic duo of Arthur and Nash? That guy hasn't got a chance. I'm glad you liked the characterizations. I had a lot of fun writing them, especially Nash and Arthur. OH, ARTHUR, MY PRETTY LITTLE PRINCESS.
I think you just like assholes. But, hey, you're in good company because so do I. LOL, I love the embarrassing parts best. It wouldn't be Cobb/Nash if everything went smoothly.
