Cause the bomb scare wasn't interesting enough.
No, to top it all off, poor sweet Cally blew out an enormous abcess in her right hind the other day. Which is really weird, because I had a freaking dressage lesson on Tuesday night, with my trainer and two other knowledgeable people watching, and not one of us noticed her being off at all. But Friday I'm picking out her foot, and lo and behold, I end up with this. Just lovely, isn't it?
Mom and Dad still came down and met her, and I just took her for a little walk, and then Mom got to hop up and have a little pony ride, which Cally was very good for. She got stuffed with treats, and is now going to get several days off to feel better, hopefully.
And so in my Steveless boredom (he's in IA, and pretty bored too, really), I've finally gotten around to photographing and listing for sale some of my old Breyer horses on eBay. I figure I can get a couple dollars towards Christmas for them, and have them not taking up space in my parents basement anymore. Though they do seem far less injury-prone than the actual pony. Hmm.
