I am terrible at posting, continued
I have a job interview thingy in November. Which is great! But also scary! And it means I need to finish my dissertation like yesterday. Also, I need a statement of research (I would like to do a job researching things does not cut it apparently), and a writing example. My last published 1st author paper was my Master's work, and I look back and laugh. It is badly written, but I cringe somewhat at my analysis. I know so much more now! Which really just means I need to get my dissertation papers done so I can use them. At my current position I have funding through Sept 2013. And I like it here, it is comfy and safe. But the post-doc which the job thing is for would be really cool. I wish I could get it and then start next Fall. Of course, I might not get it at all. Which would be depressing. Argh brain.
