Cheeks flushed, eyes squinted and lips upturned in a firm pout, Hiroto clapped his hands over his ears.
Puzzled, Shou backed away. “What’s wrong? Did I say something wrong?”
The shorter male however, trashed his head wildly from side to side. “No!”
At that, it was Shou’s turn to frown in concern. “Then what is it Pon? Was it too early for me to say it?”
A few seconds passed as Hiroto slowly opened his eyes and lowered his hands. He stared at a pebble on the ground as he mumbled, “No. I just never wanted to forget your words and your face when you said it.”
Shou’s face split into a wide smile as he pulled the other into an embrace. “Then I’ll say it over and over so you won’t ever forget.” Tilting the shorter’s chin up so their eyes met, Shou repeated his verse from a moment ago.
“I love you, Hiroto.”
