Sherlock! CATCH YOU NOW!
Just finished watching and while usually I wait a bit before I state my opinion, let's jump in fresh:
- Sherlock and John are married. MARRIED. MARRIED! John is the wife
- I'm awaiting "nursed back to health" and "Sherlock on drugs" fics now but oddly enough, I really want to read fics about Sherlock having boring sex with John, because of his ~"fear of sex"
- Mycroft was fantastic
- Irene was confusing me - first I loved her, then I hated her, then I hated her more, then I liked her, then I loathed her but in the end, I smiled. Didn't buy her death neither time, not for a second
- the ending was so satisfying. Nothing like making the audience believe that the good guys lost and then turning in around.
- Move over Liz, Ms Hudson is the queen! Send her to Iraq, she'll have everything sorted. I don't think there was a single person watching that didn't see red after Mrs Hudson got manhandled.
- Holmes was a massive dick with Molly and I wished for a second there she'd punch him. Stand up for yourself, girl! Actually, Holmes deserved a punch more than once in this episode.
Overall, very funny (hilarious!) at times but it felt like it lacked focus, there was no real "case". I don't really know how I feel about it yet.
