Torchwood - Border Princes

Yesterday I mentioned a Torchwood novel I read - Another Life - forget about it. If you want a really excellent book, try Border Princes - it’s so fantastic, I couldn’t stop reading, I’ve finished in a day. This is the only one I've read and I loved it.

What's interesting is the similarities to 'Adam', non? It's like they almost lifted that plot straight out of the book.

Apparently, the other book of the three original novels is the immensely slashy one.

I've noticed the similarity, actually, "thanks to" Adam, I had my suspicious almost from the beginning of the book. You have to admit though, the theme was so much better used in the book. It would make a fantastic episode (two-parter?) but I understand that the CGI of Series G or Evil Sudoku from Planet Mind-Screw would cost too much.

:O And to think of it, after I saw that it's a "Gwen-book" I've decided to read something else first. Damn, now I have to finish this one before I can start the third book.

It was soooo much better in the book. My friend also pointed out that the church from 'Dead Man Walking' is pretty much 'St Mary in the Dust' - it's even called St Mary's!

I haven't read it - I only know because someone quoted several passages on jackxianto last year - typed them out by hand, bless her.

I am on page 202 and as for now, there's been no slash. I think the book they've referred to is Another Life, that had more than a few Jack/Ianto moments.
