Major comicbooks post
Hm... haven't updated in a while about RL, though a lot of things happened. Some of them important, other not but I don't really feel like talking about my RL or maybe, I shall tell you about it but in a form of DANCE fandom.
I'm expecting some additional cash pretty soon and I'm planning to spend it ALL on comic books/video games and manga. Considering WHAT I'm gonna get this cash for, I deserve it.
Planet Hulk HC is available in pre-order. At first, when I saw the price I flipped Marvel the middle finger but after I realized that it’s the whole saga, not just the first 6 issues and that we even get the Guidebook and That Kid’s (Mentallo Mastermind Excello) story, I’ve deiced that actually, this is a bargain. So yes. As soon as I’m getting the cash, I’m pre-ordering it. I have to resign from buying Annihilation though but PH is worth it (if we ignore the ending, that is :/) I need a Hulk icon. Maybe a 'what's that coming over the hill? Is this monster?-Hulk' icon :P)
Cable and Deadpool was beyond fantastic and it finally fixed the mess that Wade's past had been. Seems like Bob, agent of HYDRA is here to stay.
Got my hands on Midnighter 6 finally. Oh, well, what can I say other than: OMG!!!LOLZ! YOUR SO GOOD ENNIS! PLZ WRITE MORE! I LIKED HOW THOSE NINJAS ATTACKED AND STUFF AND MINDY WAS SO COOL AND IT WAS AU BUT I DONT MIND COS IT WAS SO COOL AND I CRIED ABOUT APOLLO BUTS OK!!! XDXDXDXD!!!!! PLZ WRIT A SEQUEL!!!!! XDXDXD <---yes, it felt like an AU fanfic. Yes, I loved it.
I also had a rather disturbing dream about me being a comic book writer - I’ve created a comic book about (ok, get it) Steve (as in Captain America) and Namor (as in, yeah, THE Namor) and was annoyed that I couldn’t find a colorist. Apparently, Steve wasn’t assassinated but brought (kidnapped?) to Atlantis by Namor, who created an artificial amnesia and told him they were involved. Well, if we swap Steve with Sue then it’s almost canon (but I won’t swap and instead, indulge myself thinking about Steve/Namor romance). WHY was it disturbing, you ask? Well, come on, Namor and Steve? As hot as it would be, Namor is a Pimp Supreme and Steve doesn't need that (just like he doesn't need an alcoholic boyfriend - take that Tony/Steve shippers*).
*absolutely nothing against Steve/Tony shippers!!!! but that doesn't rock my boat at all
