Heh, Stardust is the only Neil Gaiman novel I haven't read. I'll have to correct that at some point. The movie looks awesome. The teaser posters for Coraline look pretty cool too.

To be honest, the only thing by Gaiman I read was 'Good Omen'. We have everything by him in our library but I'm making my way through other authors first...

Having read the book, I'm afraid I'm having to go for cautiously pessimistic. It looks very different in tone and style from the book & disappointingly like the rest of what comes out of Hollywood.

But YAY that they're making it, and the effects will definitely be first-rate.

I'm guessing it will be some good ol' family entertainment. I'm in for that!
I'm really REALLY excited about Rick Gervais appearing in the movie. I love this guy. Hate The Office but appreciate the genius of it.
