this made me squee hardcore.

when I first read the part about the little girl I was all, "wouldn't it be funny if it was Joanna?" and then it was and i did my little seat bouncy dance of who totally called that, which usually only happens when I accurately predict who is going to win a particular sports game against one of my guy friends.

That did go through a couple changes. At first she wasn't there at all, then it was just a stranger, then it was Kirk-being-insane and NO ONE was there and I inevitably settled on Joanna for the sake of the family scene later.

Thank you so much for reading and I'm glad that worked out! I coach girls the age I was writing her and I always came back to 'oh god, am I writing her too young/old for this' so thank god I had eleven of them to go on!
