Oh this was gorgeously heartwrenching. I had tears pouring down my face as Jim talked to his mother trying to cope. Just fantastic.

I am a bit sad to see this end. I've loved this series from the beginning, and I've always been really excited to see a new part come up. So...not having any new parts to look forward (epilogues? epilogues?) is a bit bittersweet, but you brought it home beautifully. I admittedly loved how it ended with them back in Georgia, with the tire swing since I have a thing for symmetry. ;)

Fantastic work on this entire series, and thank you for writing it!

You know for a moment there you had me and Hayley as two very thin GLASS CASES OF EMOTION.

And then you said the disease.

And we were like FUCK YES BONES HAS SURVIVED THIS HE CAN DO IT AGAIN.

I'm sad to see the series end, but it ends on a great note. :> I'm sad to see many of my favourite fics lately coming to an end, but hey, it gives room for new and fresh ideas. This was an amazing adventure, my friend.
