Finding Some Awesome Fics
Hey, I wasn't sure if this was allowed but I saw someone else post a fic search request recently and thought I'd give my own a shot. If this isn't allowed, just shoot me a message and I will delete. Also, I am new to LJ so I don't know how to hide the bulk of the entry under a cut, sorry.
Anyway, the fics I am searching for are obviously awesome Kirk/McCoy:
1) AU: Jim Kirk is a last minute baby sitter for McCoy (who keeps getting set up on dates by his good friend Nyota) and eventually ends up moving in with him due to rent issues.
2) Following the events of the movie, Kirk and McCoy are back at the academy and dealing as they do, then McCoy finds out that Kirk is made Captain of the Enterprise and goes and reams out Spock!Prime just as he is talking to nu!Spock and reveals that he is in love with Kirk. Kirk overhears this because he has messed with McCoy's communicator. McCoy thinks he has screwed up because Jim isn't ready/can't cope with love but Jim can because it is McCoy.
