I'm trying to find a Jim/Bones fic I read awhile ago. Jim is on an away mission and something happens that damages or interferes with his lifemonitor. Since Bones always keeps an eye on it in sickbay when Jim's away, he thinks Jim's been killed. When Jim gets back on board and finds out what happened he heads straight for Bones and there's a wonderful fluffy reunion scene.

You're very welcome. Normally I am really bad at remembering which scenes are from which fics, but I re-read this recently whilst avoiding writing an essay and so am thrilled to know that my procrastination was not completely in vain!

I'm looking for a fic where Jim is held captive/is missing and Bones who has intimidated the crew, rescues him by wielding hypos. It was a great crack fic and I'd love to find it :)

looking for a story where jim cheates on bones and bones gets taken hostage after leaving the enterprise and jim saves him.
