I just arrived home from Friday night magic.
It was Type II, and I played the following deck:
4 Forest
4 Mountain
4 Skarrg, the Rage Pits
4 Stomping Ground
4 Karplusan Forest
20 Land
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Wild Cantor
4 Kird Ape
4 Scab-Clan Mauler
4 Burning-Tree Shaman
4 Rumbling Slum
24 Creatures
4 Shock
4 Volcanic Hammer
4 Char
4 Umezawa's Jitte
16 Other cards
SIDEBOARD
4 Naturalize
4 Tin Street Hooligan
4 Giant Growth
3 Arashi, the Sky Asunder.
I was going to play the Hooligan's Main deck in the Jitte slot due to burning Tree Shaman, but I was pursuaded by my teamate to play both, and it really was a good idea.
I went 3-0 in matches, and won the event. The deck seems pretty strong, though the mana base is really dodgy.
Okay other non M:tG news:
I'm reading 'Café Theology' at the moment, not too far in yet, but it seems interesting. Not sure my mind will be good enough at this sort of thinking to be following it by the end, hopefully I'll keep up.
Take care 'everyone' (I think two people actaully read this :P)
