"The Mist Owl is mostly seen with Chrome everywhere and even "sleeps" with her." - Reborn wiki
Ahaha subtext.
Also: On the previous Hayatouri note, why is the MELONE base called the MELON BASE? =_=;;
And Lambo's box animal has such an amusing name. xD
Puns for character names AND box weapon names and.... who knows what else. (feel free to ask if you want to know, if I still remember)
THIS is why Amano-sensei gives me headaches....
ETA: Delittio means crime? (if I spelt it right)
Obviously referring to the Sin of the Vongola? /I don't really know whether Shimon are doing it for personal gain, but I personally don't really think so....
Actually wait, what did I write? 'Only way to regain power'? >_> Hey this is not making sense.../jumpsintoahole
---
Yes,
mayonaka_otaku you can poke me with that pencil. >_>
Okok, off to study on Java... I THINK.
ETA: Ok so I did all of about 20 minutes work and I failed miserably at the MC. :D At least I know what I need to 'revise' now? :\

I need to make a master post or something...
Other people have probably made one before. XD
- Hayatouri (choko-like melon?) is the pun for Gokudera and Uri.
- NezumiBARI (hedgehog) is the pun for Hibari, along with HIBAado/Hibird.
- Hibari himself means Skylark or 'haughtiness'
- Nuts (Natsu) is the reversed version of Tsuna (which is also... you know Tuna sometimes)
- Yamamoto's Jiro is "supposedly named after Karahutoinu Jiro, a very famous Antarctic sled dog." and Kojiro "supposedly comes from the swordmaster Sasaki Kojirou, a legend in Japan who was very famous for his favorite Technique, "Tsubame-Gaeshi" (Turning Swallow Cut). This Technique was feared and respected throughout feudal Japan. As another note, Sasaki Kojirou was renowned for his skill at using the kodachi, an exceptionally long katana. This is noteworthy, as when the Vongola Rain Swallow combines with the Shigure Kintoki, its length could qualify for kodachi status." (Yeah that's from the Reborn wiki. XD And the Wiki got it from Tankoubon 26 (from
purrmew))
- Takeshi means brave, but I assume it's a kind of a common name, really
- Ryohei's Kangaroo (Garyuu?) could mean 'one's own way' or 'self-taught' ... (possible)
- From
snow_wood "Also, the pun with Ryouhei's is that her whole name is Kangaryuu (which I think a lot of people forget since he only ever calls her Garyuu)."
- Lambo's er, bull, Gyuudon means "rice covered with beef and vegetables"
- The definition I got for 'Lambou' was "rude; violent; rough; lawless; unreasonable; reckless"
- Mukuro is a combination of Mukuro + Fukurou (owl) (from
purrmew )
- Why is one of the meanings of Kyoko 'fiction, fabrication'? o.O (Need to look at the kanji....)
- Haru of the definitions: "to stick"? <- remind you of anything?
- Shittopi? - possibly what it sounds like - relevance??
- I-pin, mahjong phrase... it's the tile with a round circle on it, that is usually called 'one cylinder' etc. :\ reference to her head? xD
- "Wait a minute I'm just wondering. Bianchi has pink hair so why was she given the name for 'white'? Might as well have given it to Gokudera."(
lodelco)"Because Amano names her Italian characters after cars. "Lambo" is short for Lamborghini. "Dino" was a make of Ferrari. "Lancia" is a car. "Shamal" is a car. "Longchamp" is a race course. Cervello, I'm assuming, comes from "Cervélo," a brand of bicycles. "Bianchi" is a brand of bicycle. Remember her first appearance? On a bicycle. Maybe I'm imagining things, butttt..." From
