[It's evening time and the sun is beginning to set. After a nice dinner which Shouryuu trolled by inviting Tianzi and cleaning up, Rokuta has decided to be a good host and show Tianzi out. Unfortunately the City is a bigger troll than Shouryuu. See that mistletoe there above them in the doorway? They don't.]Will you get

[Now, were Tianzi and Enki some other couple (or, at least, were Tianzi not endearingly innocent), the two of them would have likely been asked some very event-pertinent questions. As she's not someone else, however, Shouryuu refrains from some of his more charged remarks and smirks, lowering his voice to almost a whisper as he ruffles the kirin's hair and chuckles. Being deliberately annoying is the Ever-King's specialty.] Your nose is going to start glowing if you don't calm down, you know. Or is this you telling me you want another blanket to crawl under?

He reaches up to grip Shouryuu's wrist in an attempt to shove him away, annoyed at his mane hair being ruffled. That's En Ou's specialty all right. He knows it better than ANYONE.]
S-Shut up... That's not--Don't you have better things to do than stalk me?!
Reply
Um-
[Honestly, she felt like she ought not to dive in to that argument, but. As endearingly innocent as she seemed, the Tianzi had seen so much fighting that she felt a tad guilty for even teasing, and the more playful things, finally reaching forward to tangle her fingers in the back of Rokuta's clothes]
Rokuta! Mister Shouryuu!
Reply
As for you,[he said, smirk not quite vanished from his face,] you'd better cool your head. You're worrying the little lady.
Reply
H-Huh? Oh... [He scratches his head and feels guilty now.] Sorry... It's okay, Tianzi. He's an idiot and his head is thicker than a brick wall. He's fine. [He says that last part with some regret.
He shoots Shouryuu a nasty glare.] You started it.

I mean- I'm not worried-
[Scrambled for something else to say, to cover her reaction.]
And... thank you for inviting me, again, sir! I had a wonderful time!
Reply
[He turns, deciding to go along with the sudden shift in conversation.] And it was wonderful to have you. You sure you don't want Rokuta to escort you back home?

But then he's blushing lightly again, irritated. He's starting to wonder what it would be like to have a king that didn't meddle in his affairs.]
You can stop anytime now, you know.

[She finally did remember she had hold of Rokuta, and let go, stepping back and busying herself with the distraction of brushing off her robes]
No- it's okay. We'll have tea later, he promised, so. It's fine. Thank you.

[As for what life would have been like to have a non-meddlesome king? He thinks the word "boring" might describe that life quite well.]
Reply
Yeah... we'll definitely do that. You, um... you can take Rikaku. He'll get you home in no time.
[Aside he calls the youma's name and asks him to wait outside the door for her, which Rikaku does.]
Only, uh... if you want. It's okay if you don't. Just tell him if you change your mind. [An awkward pause before he speaks again.] I'll see you later.
[Rokuta would describe it as "bliss"...]
Reply
Mm- thank you, Rokuta.
[Another glance to Shouryuu, and she bowed briefly]
And thank you once again for inviting me!
[A brighter smile, less clouded by embarassment- before she made her escape exit before she did something embarrassing, hopping on to Rikaku's back like she had before, and clinging tight.
It was easier to hide the blush there.]
Reply
As soon as Rikaku takes off, however, Rokuta can expect a very long, penetrating stare.] Well?
Reply
He shoots a glare back at Shouryuu, meeting the stare with cold defiance.] Well what?

P-Pervert! I'm not answering that. It's none of your damn business.
