People were always saying they couldn't figure out WTH was going on in my default icon, so perhaps this somewhat less zoomed-in version will help. Maybe. Perhaps I'll mess with it more later. Getting back to work now.

If you don't like space opera, you don't like space opera. Tiercel really likes Mirror Dance (which is part of the Brothers in Arms-Mirror Dance-Memory series) and she's not so big on Bujold's more SF books. Memory is my favorite by far, but IMO it works best if you already know the characters.

OTOH, http://www.webscription.net/10.1125/Baen/1011250002/1011250002.htm is short and (bitter)sweet. It has all the Barrayar and none of the spaceships.
