Wait, it's March? Road trip last call and other things
March already? No way. Really? Fine.
Ok, first up, just a last check on this TMBG concert. The evening of the 10th (that's next Wednesday) in Charlotte. I'll be probably leaving work just a bit early to drive down, crash at Britt's afterwards, and come back the next morning. I realize this fits approximately nobody's schedule, but if anyone's up for it at the last minute it looks like tickets are still available and I'd love company for the drives.
Next up, GameSpite Quarterly 4 is available for purchase. Holy crap, we made it to a full year. This one has a smaller number of more in-depth articles, and only a loose theme of "mechanics in gaming". My contribution is a piece on Suikoden V and Tierkreis and what exactly holds together a series.
Also note that the free version of GSQ3, the 8-bit hero encyclopedia, is still trickling out online. I'll link to all my articles from that issue directly once the last one is up.
I haven't posted a whole lot here (publicly) for a while, but for the terminally curious note that I did answer 70 questions over on formspring before the deluge dried up, so you might find something of interest there. Most of it is silly, but not all.
