Review for Snow White and the Huntsmen
I saw this last night. I never realized how much of a Mary Sue Snow White is before. I found myself almost hoping the evil Queen would win.
The special effects were beautiful, especially in the Faery Sanctuary. The actors and actresses were excellent, with the exception of Kristen Stewart.
I often found myself annoyed with how quickly Snow White abandoned those that helped her. And how she automatically seemed to know how to lead and inspire an army, despite spending most of her life locked up with little to no human contact. She's too perfect and too single minded to be likeable.
I'd still recommend this movie, however. It was an interesting take on the story.
