Crush.
Grimlock wasn't the smartest mech, he knew this and (privately) admitted it; but he was not as stupid as most believed him to be. He could learn from experience, his and other's, and he did know how to read so what he couldn't learn by watching and doing, he looked up. Wheeljack had shown all the Dinobots how to do basic searches on the computer and while Swoop understood it better than the others, Grimlock did know how to use the dictionary and encyclopedia features.
1. A violent collision or compression; a crash; destruction; ruin.
So when a busy and grumpy Ratchet had answered his recent questions about "What this feeling be?" with single words and was in no mood to elaborate, Grimlock returned to the Dinobots' room to wait for Swoop to get off the computer so he could try to figure out what Ratchet's answers had meant. Normally, he'd just tell the smaller Dinobot to get off and maybe, if Swoop was being too slow, pick him up and move him. But something about this was making him a little unsure of himself.
2. Violent pressure, as of a crowd; a crowd which produced uncomfortable pressure; as, a crush at a reception.
He wasn't quite sure why. Why he was unsure or even why every time a certain mech looked in his direction, he felt... something. He couldn't even describe the feeling exactly. It was almost... fluttery. Almost... almost... make him want to stand there waving stupidly at the mech, made him want to jump up and down shouting "Look at me!" Made him... want to run away and hide as every time that mech looked at him, it reminded him of the dreams. Dreams where he held the other mech, touched him...
3. A short-lived and unrequited love or infatuation; the object of this infatuation.
... Loved him? Grimlock stared at the computer, slouching over the screen in an attempt to keep a curious Swoop from seeing what he was reading. Swoop wouldn't think anything of Grimlock looking up words he didn't understand, but he might wonder why the Dinobot leader was looking up a word he already knew. But as all the Dinobots learned, some easier than others, words often had more than one meaning. Grimlock knewwhat the word crush meant... at least one definition. But this? A... crush?
Grimlock thought on this, thought on his recent encounters with the mech, his reactions to things the other did, and came to one conclusion. "Me Grimlock in love."
Swoop, who had been leaning against a wall nearby in hopes of seeing what had Grimlock so interested, yelped and crashed loudly to the floor when he heard this. Grimlock took no notice as he stared at the computer screen for a few minutes before nodding. "Me Grimlock wonder if him Prowl like flowers."
