So, on the Bunny Farm, several of us have talked about movies/books/etc that Optimus has banned. And I suddenly had the idea to type up the list(s). Feel free to suggest anything. If you think any of these need a ficlet, feel free to write it (unless it already has a ficlet).
Edit: Added some items. To see who suggested what, scroll down to the

Ripley's Believe or Not. Ratchet, Wheeljack, Perceptor, Skyfire, Hook, Vortex, etc. Sea foam that swallows an entire town. No, seriously. 2 miles inland and for 250 miles of the coast, took two weeks to go away. Also; "Look what I can do!"
Star Wars. Unicron=Death Star?
Either the whole series of Idiot's Guide or Dummies books or just a select few. They really don't need random mechs trying to do Necromancer's for Dummies now do they?
Children's songs, of any kind. For the same reason as the Song That Never Ends.
Military Channel. Really don't need to give certain volatile bots ideas.
Any shows involving paranormal investigations. Red Alert's nervous enough as it is.
MTV. If the bots are forced to hear 'I Kissed A Girl' one more time...
Dark Cloud. Now Wheeljack and Reflector are gonna join forces to take photos and invent things based on said photos.
Animal-Wise; the spirit language and signs of nature, book. It's one thing when the nature lovers point out every single detail of the animals around them. It's another entirely when they also point out what they could mean for your life and what you should start doing to improve your lifestyle. Like totems, only it's with every animal you meet.
Antique Roadshow and Breaking Vegas; Swindle and Smokescreen.
Health Channel; it's regulated to only the med bay and Ratchet's quarters 'cause the surgeries are making everyone else feel a little ill.
Etiquette books; Prowl.
Elder's Scroll 3: Morrowind or 4:Oblivion. Those things are massive and that's without the mods. Or other games like World of Warcraft.
Metal Gear Solid; Mirage. And boxes.
Handyman books; lets keep Wheeljack's inventions to his lab, okay?
Naruto; "Believe it!" And koncho.
Voodoo dolls; does this one really need to be explained? Also, shrunken heads. How can you even shrink a Cybertronains head anyway?
Power Rangers
Geez, with all the things that are banned, what are they actually allowed to watch/read anyway?

Well, I have been considering making a Decepticon one as well. I'll save those for that.

Added! And will also be added to the 'Con's list. Which I will work on later.
And Vortex was unexpected.
So... who said that?
Star Wars. Unicron=Death Star?
Hmmm. What would happen to make Optimus and/or Megatron add it to the lists?

So... Twins?
Children's songs, of any kind. For the same reason as the Song That Never Ends.
Blaster: *pouts*
Cassettes: *cheer*

True. Warpath, do you think?

He is.
MTV. If the bots are forced to hear 'I Kissed A Girl' one more time...
Blaster: *glares* "It's bad enough that they took away my children's songs, now they want to take away music videos as well?"
Jazz: *nods* *suddenly realizes something* "You listen to children's songs?"
Blaster: *looks at him as if he's crazy* "Of course, I do. I'm not as old as you are, old timer."
Jazz: "Old timer?!"
Dark Cloud. Now Wheeljack and Reflector are gonna join forces to take photos and invent things based on said photos.
Is this a... show? *has never heard of it*

That sounds like an interesting book. *sadly adds it to the list*
And koncho.
*can't remember what koncho is*

I'm sure Mixmaster and Perceptor will find a way, if they work together.
Geez, with all the things that are banned, what are they actually allowed to watch/read anyway?
Reading Rainbow... uh, Dick and Jane? See Spot Run? The Making of the Dictionary?

Star Wars would most likely end up with numerous playing of the Imperial March, movie quotes at all times of the day and possibly cosplay.
There's a Dummies and Idiot's Guide for practically everything under the sun, so it just might be the entire Ark is banned from them.
Well, Dark Cloud 2 really. It's a game and one of the aspect of it is where you go around with your camera and take pictures of everything you can. This gives you the ability to make everything from shoes to a fish aquarium to new armor for your robot.
Animal-Wise is really good, mainly 'cause it has everything from parrots to tigers to coral in it. From the last pow wow in my city that supposedly a Decepticon shares her name with.
Koncho
Perhaps Septimus Heap should be added to. Since one of the charms in there let one of the characters turn an entire door into a gigantic block of chocolate.
I don't know about the Making of the Dictionary, after all wouldn't it have some of the reasons why the words in the dictionary got in their and the debate between people to actually let the word stay in the first place?

For the sake of every 'bot except Perceptor... no. Just... no. He's bad enough without encouragement.

??: O_O "The humans know about Unicron, don't they?"
Red Alert: "Oh Primus! They're in league with the Chaos Bringer! They're going to destroy use! We have to kill them first!"
