Yesterday was so much fun...not.

I drank too much coffee to start off. Not first thing in the the morning. But I usually have a cup before I go back on the bus to fight off the afternoon drowsys. Well that cup was extra big and it was the one that did me in mentally. Though it was because I had an extra cup at 9 oclock. SO I had like 5 cups yesterday instead of three.

Anyways Abby and Nomi are getting quite restless from being on the bus so much lately. So they were really pushing my buttons yesterday (And the last week or so). They have been doing lots of whining. Not even at me. They are now whining at each other over toys. I suppose that is because I told them that yelling about the toys was not acceptable.

I ended up turning my elementary bus around and going back to school before I even got to my first stop yesterday. I just had enough. I have been talking to the principal about the behavior on my bus so I think she had an idea something might happen soon. We were trying to not suspend anyone from the bus because we aren't sure if they will get to school at all if they can't take the bus. But the one girl who cause most of the problems would not keep her hand to herself. I told her, "Knock it of Tiyana and Tatyana." She looked right at me and went, "Hmmm?" I said, "Knock it Off!" and she went, "Uh huh..." and started right back up. Between that and the constant jumping around I said forget this. I radioed base and told them to have the principal meet me. The amazing thing? As soon as I turned that bus around and the kids realized they were going to see the principal? They all sat down and stopped screaming! So they do *know* how to behave. SO I have to turn in my tape and talk to them today.

Then I had to drive to my parent's campsite to drop some stuff off from thier house because my mom had a bad day and forgot some stuff. She had already had some wine and couldn't go herself to get the stuff. Then Dad called and asked me to get batteries on the way. I got them, but I only got two instead of four. *facepalm* He acted mad when I said I wouldn't go get two more. I told him I had to get home and figure out dinner. It was 7 and the kids hadn't eatten yet. My Mom rolled her eyes at Dad. She could tell I was tired and stressed from the day I think. Because I don't usually ever tell them "No."

I have to go grocery shopping today and put away clothes and post a new challenge. At least I managed to mop the entire first floor yesterday. It only took me about eight buckets of water. It was so disgusting!

Lana loves to sit on my lap at the computer and purr. <3

OH and if I want my attendance bonus I cannot miss even one route for the next six and half weeks! Schools gets out June 24th. And I already have "3 absences."

kitty, rant
