I know that the world doesn't run on kindness since the beginning of time, but why do you have to keep saying that you can't do anything for others anymore simply because you can't even help yourself? Is giving so hard to do or is it because you perceive it to be something negative to your very being? If so, why do you pretend to help? I give because I have given up almost on physical things because life is shorter than you think it is, but the people, the memories and the times that you have and share are immortal in your heart. But seeing you attached so badly to everything, making life even more difficult for everyone is boggling. I don't know how to tell you I understand somewhat what you're doing, and so I don't stop your nagging.
Give freely and you will receive freely; it may not be in the same manner that you received such kindness, but life does have good karma as well. We may live in a harsh world but how we choose to react to it makes a difference. Whether you choose to believe it or not, I'll just keep waiting. I'll just listen and hope and pray perhaps you'll be able to look back, laugh and move on.
